스트립을 분홍으로 물들인 월드스타 ‘블랙핑크’

‘블랙핑크’가 처음으로 라스베이거스에 상륙했다. 콘서트 당일 오후부터 라스베가스에 강한 폭우가 쏟아졌다 하필 왜 오늘인가 … 걱정도 했지만 공연 시간이 다가오자 비는 서서히 그치고 얼리전트 스타디움 옆으로 아주 큰 무지개가 들어섰다. 그렇게 큰 무지개는 생전 처음이었다. 전세계인의 사랑을 받는 K-pop 그룹 ‘블랙핑크’ 콘서트. 기대감과 설레임에 행복감까지 더해지는 순간이었다.
그렇게 콘서트장에 도착했고 많은 인파가 입장을 기다리고 있었다. 블랙핑크의 컨셉트 룩을 갖춰 입은 사람들이 많았는데 그들에게서 블랙핑크와의 만남을 갈망하고 닮고 싶어하는 마음이 느껴졌다 공연장 안은 이미 관객들로 꽉 차 있었고 관객들은 그녀들을 기다리며 공연장에서 나오는 음악에 맞춰 춤을 추기도 하고 노래를 따라 부르며 콘서트를 벌써부터 즐기고 있었다. 그러다 갑자기 조명이 꺼졌다. 관객의 함성은 하늘을 찔렀고 음악소리를 덮어버렸다. 드디어 블랙핑크가 등장한 것이다.
스크린에 멤버 한 명 한 명을 비출 때마다 함성은 귀를 찌를 듯이 울렸다. 블랙핑크의 첫 곡은 Pink Venom. 화려한 조명과 중간 중간 터지는 폭죽, 파워풀한 그녀들의 무대가 합쳐져 정말 웅장했고 그녀들의 목소리는 공연장을 꽉 채울 정도로 압도적이었다. 내가 앉아 있는 의자까지 둥둥둥 하고 진동이 느껴질 정도였으니 말이다.
관객들은 음악에 심취해 춤을 추기도 하고 소리를 지르기도 하고 방방 뛰기도 했다. 블랙핑크 멤버들이 하나씩 솔로 곡을 부를 때는 관객들은 모두가 하나가 된 듯이 합창을 하고 안무를 따라하기도 했다. 한국 가사를 따라 부르는 외국인들을 보며 난 살짝 닭살이 돋기도 했는데 이런 게 K-pop의 위력이구나 하며 그녀들이 참 자랑스러웠다.
그녀들의 무대 의상을 구경하는데도 눈이 즐거웠다. 하나같이 세련되고 너무나도 감각적이었다.
제니의 솔로 무대 의상인 빨간 팬츠와 하트 모양 트임이 있던 체크무늬 상의는 너무나 잘 어울렸다. 등장할 때 당시 주변 관객들의 감탄사가 들리기도 했다. 제니의 춤선과 그윽한 표정은 그녀로부터 눈을 뗄 수 없게 만든다. 지수는 팅커벨 같은 싱그러운 아름다움이 느껴졌다. 꽃이라는 곡을 부를 때 지수의 매력과 미모가 빛이 났다. 로제의 무대는 감동 그 자체이다.청량하고 꿀 같은 음색을 라이브로 직접 들으니 감격스러웠다. 그리고 마지막 리사… 그녀의 몸선은 눈을 뗄 수가 없을 정도로 아름다웠고, 그 가녀린 몸에서 파워풀한 춤이 나온다는 게 믿어지지가 않았다. 거기다가 리사만의 카리스마 있는 랩까지 정말 박수가 절로 나왔다.
무대 안무 중에 한국의 부채춤을 연상케 하는 안무가 있었는데 한국의 아름다움을 세계에 알릴 수 있다는 점에서 그 부분이 나에겐 참 인상적이었다. 멤버들이 공연 중간중간 돌출 무대로 나와 앉아서 자연스러운 호응 유도와 팬들과 인사하고 눈 마주치는 팬서비스도 빠지지 않았다. 조금 아쉬웠던 부분이 있었다면 음악이 꺼지고 멤버들 각자 소감을 이야기하는 부분이 있었는데 소리가 잘 들리지 않아 아쉬웠다. 하지만 마지막 앵콜곡까지 2곡을 더 해주고 편안한 옷으로 갈아입고 나와 1곡을 더 선보였다.
두 시간가량을 연이어 라이브로 노래를 하고 춤을 추고 끝날 때까지 최선을 다하는 모습에 역시 블랙핑크는 실력파 월드 스타라고 생각했다.
이제 곧 블랙핑크의 월드 투어 콘서트가 막바지에 이르고 있다. 전 세계의 사랑을 받는 자랑스런 k-pop 가수 블랙핑크. 그녀들에게 고마움과 응원의 마음을 전하고 싶다.

대한민국의 대표적 걸그룹 블랙핑크가 기록적인 행보를 이어가고 있다. BTS와 더불어 얼리전트 스타디움을 매진시킨 최초의 걸그룹이 되었다. 라스베이거스 공연을 끝으로 두 번째 월드투어 공식 공연은 총 62회라는 역사를 써 내려갔다.
스트립에서는 8월16일부터 21일까지 블랙핑크를 기념하며 분홍색 조명 물결을 이루었다. AREA15에서는 물건 찾기, 시저스 팰리스 호텔에서는 기념 촬영 등 이벤트도 개최했다. 만델레이 호텔 하우스 오브 블루 레스토랑에서는 블랙핑크에게서 영감 받은 특별 요리를 선보이는 이벤트도 진행했는데, 코리안 BBQ, 고추장 갈비 등이 메뉴로 등장했다.
그룹 블랙핑크는 미국 빌보드 200에서 정상에 올랐으며, 대표곡 ‘뚜두뚜두’는 유튜브에서 21억뷰를 보유하고 있다.

As we arrived at the concert hall, we were greeted by a large crowd eagerly waiting to enter. The venue was already filled with enthusiastic fans, dancing and singing along to the music playing inside. Suddenly, the lights went out, causing the audience's shouts to pierce the sky, overpowering the sound of the music. Finally, BLACKPINK made their appearance.
Each time a member's image appeared on the screen, the crowd's shouts grew louder, filling the air. The combination of colorful lights, explosive fireworks, and their powerful stage presence created a truly grand spectacle. Their voices were so overwhelming that they seemed to fill the entire venue. Even the chair I was sitting on seemed to vibrate.
The audience was completely immersed in the music, dancing, screaming, and jumping with excitement. When BLACKPINK members performed their solo songs one by one, the audience joined in chorus, following the choreography as if they were one entity.
I couldn't help but feel joy every time I looked at their stage. Their performances were sophisticated and exuded sensuality. Jennie's solo stage outfit, featuring red pants and a checkered top with heart-shaped slits, matched perfectly. As she appeared, exclamations filled the air from the surrounding audience. Jennie's dance lines and profound expressions were captivating, making it impossible to look away. Jisoo emitted a fresh beauty akin to Tinkerbell, and her charm and beauty shone brightly when she sang the song "Flower." Rosé's performance was incredibly touching, and hearing her refreshing, honey-like voice live was a delight. And lastly, Lisa... Her graceful body lines were mesmerizing, and it was hard to believe that such a powerful dance could come from her slender frame. Additionally, Lisa's charismatic rap received well-deserved applause.
During the performance, the members came to a protruding stage in the middle to engage with fans, offering natural responses, fan service, and making eye contact. While there was a slight disappointment when the music was turned off and the members shared their feelings, it was unfortunate that the sound wasn't clear enough to hear properly.
They performed live for approximately two hours, singing and dancing with unwavering energy until the very end. It was evident that BLACKPINK is a talented global superstar.
As BLACKPINK's world tour concert approaches its end, I feel a deep sense of gratitude and support for them. BLACKPINK is a proud K-pop group adored by fans around the world. I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to them.
